Signs are custom made and hand crafted to the exacting specifications of the MTA's graphic design specifications. Full size metal signs measure 5 Feet (58" long x 12" high x 1" deep) and 'mini' metal signs measure 2 1/2 Feet long (30" long x 6" high x 1" deep). See a photo of both sizes here.
Metal Signs
Signs are digitally printed and constructed with 18-gauge Aluminum, and coated with a durable protective polyester clear coat. They are lettered using Helvetica font--the MTA's standard since 1966. Flanged all 4 sides with 2 holes top and bottom flange for hanging.
